Notice of Temporary closing of Roads R181-3

Temporary Closing Of Roads

Monaghan County Council gives notice of its intention to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Date:                     Friday 8th July 2022 (6pm -10pm)

To Facilitate:      Castleblayney Muckno Mania Festival.

Road Closed:     West Street, Castleblayney, R181-3.

Diversion Routes:

York Street to Muckno Street: Traffic will be diverted right off the R938-0, York Street, onto the LT75066, Thomas Street, left onto the LT75065, Henry Street and then right onto the R181-0, Muckno Street.

Muckno Street to York Street: Traffic will be diverted left off the R181-3, Muckno Street onto the LT 75065, Henry/Church Street, then left onto the R938-0, York Street.                 

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

Any interested person may lodge an objection to the closing of the above-mentioned road with the Head of Roads, Monaghan County Council, MTEK II Building, Knockaconny, Monaghan not later than Tuesday 5th July 2022.  Any objections must be clearly marked on envelope “Objection To Road Closure”.
