Temporary Closing of Roads – Emergency Closure

Monaghan County Council hereby gives notice of Emergency Closure in accordance with section 75 of the Roads Act 1993& Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994 that it will close the following road in the Municipal District of Monaghan in County Monaghan:

Date & time: Saturday 7^th September 2024 at 6pm until Monday 9^th September 2024 at 2am.

To Facilitate: Poc The Blues Festival

Road Closed: LS5515 Lower Mill Street between North Road and Church Square

Diversion Routes: 

Traffic coming from the North Road / Upper Mill Street wishing to access Dublin Street may do so via North Road and Glaslough Street.

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).
