Monaghan County Council has published an Annual Draft Map for 2027 of the land considered to be in scope for the Residential Zoned Lands Tax (RZLT). A Final Map for 2026 has also been published which identifies land that may be liable for the tax in 2026. Landowners may make a request to Monaghan County Council to change the zoning of this land.

The maps and explanatory information on how to make a submission are available to view online at: https://monaghan.ie/planning/rzlt/ and are also on public display at the Planning Office and the three Municipal District Offices. We would like to remind you that today, Wednesday 1st April is the last day for submissions.
