Upcoming Temporary Road Closures

Monaghan Town Country Music Festival

LS5515 – Lower Mill Street between North Road and Church Square from Thursday 17^th July 2025 to Saturday 19^th July 2025 between the hours of 6:30pm and 12.30 a.m. and on Sunday 20^th July 2025 between the hours of 2.30 pm and 11:30 pm.

R867 – From Church Square to the Diamond, Monaghan Town from Thursday 17^th July 2025 to Saturday 19^th July 2025 between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 12.30 a.m. and on Sunday 20^th July 2025 between the hours of 2.30 p.m. and 11.30 p.m.

N54 – Glaslough Street (past the entrance to the car park (at the Hive Restaurant) via the Diamond and Dublin Street to Old Cross Square from Thursday 17^th July 2025 to Saturday 19^th July 2025 between the hours of 6.30 p.m. and 12.30 a.m. and on Sunday 20^th July 2025 between the hours of 2.30 p.m. and 11.30 p.m.

Lower Courthouse Car Park closure:

From Monday 14^th July 2025 at 8.00 a.m. until Monday 21^st July 2025 at 6.00 p.m. a section of the lower Courthouse carpark to facilitate the Cullen Funfair (84 short term spaces, 37 long term spaces and 2 disabled spaces)

LS5514 Rowantree Road

Date: Between Tuesday 8^th July 2025 at 6pm and Wednesday 9^th July 2025 at 6pm

To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works

Road Closed: LS5514 Rowantree road from its junction with the N54 North Road, at Mr Price to its junction with the LP1631 High Street at The Monaghan General Hospital Entrance.

LP1411 Pound Hill

Date: Between Wednesday 9^th July 2025 at 6pm and Friday 11^th July 2025 at 6pm

To Facilitate: Road Improvement Works

Road Closed: LP1411 Pound Hill from its junction with the R987 at McCarrons  to the Ard Gleann Junction. 

L8601-8602 Tattyboy/Moyles

Date: Between Monday 28^th July 2025 and Friday 29^th August 2025 (The Road may be closed for a maximum of 3 weeks within the Closure Period)

To Facilitate:Road Improvement Works

Road Closed: LS8601 and LS8602 at Tattyboy and Moyles for a distance of 3100m between its junction with the LS4600 at Blackstaff and the LS6420 junction in Inniskeen.
