Gardaí issue advice following recent car thefts

Gardaí in Monaghan are urging people to be conscious of their car keys, following a slew of recent car thefts. In these separate cases, homes have been broken into, car keys have been obtained and vehicles subsidised.

Gardaí are reminding people that it is important to remove car keys from the vehicle both in public and in private driveways and not to leave the car keys where they are visible.
