Over €620,000 CLÁR funding for 15 sports and community projects in County Monaghan from the Department of Rural and Community Development

Over €620,000 CLÁR funding for 15 sports and community projects in Co Monaghan from the Department of Rural and Community Development

The projects being funded are:

·        Aughnamullen Sarsfields: Upgrade spectator access and accommodation - €50,000

·        Clontibret GAA: Construct Spectator Terracing - €50,000

·        Corduff/Raferagh Community Association: Enhancement works, electrical upgrades, repairs and painting - €50,000

·        Emyvale GAA: Enhancement and accessibility works - €50,000

·        Oram GFC: Develop an area on spectator side of football field to improve access - €50,000

·        Doohamlet GFC: New spectator area and biodiversity area - €50,000

·        Drum Presbyterian Church: Resurface the carpark - €37,482

·        Aghabog Church of Ireland: Improved access including kerbing, car parking, drainage works and public lighting - €49,942

·        Edenmore National School: A community and sensory garden - €50,000

·        St Colmans Clontibret Church Hall: Refurbishment of exterior of community hall - €50,000

·        Clara Community Development Association: Toilets Upgrades - €44,803

·        Cahans Meeting House: Resurfacing of parking areas and installation of outdoor lighting - €18,214

·        Ballybay Town Team: Ballybay Park Teenage Hangout Area - €39,150

·        St. Mellan's Handball: Restoration of historic handball alley - €12,000

·        Carrickroe Community Centre: Resurface walking track at rear of Carrickroe Community Centre and community centre entrance enhancement - €18,900
