Temporary Closing of Road R180-6 Nafarty And Cloghvally Lower, Carrickmacross-Castleblayney MD from 10/09/22 to 28/10/22 to facilitate Road Resurfacing Works

Temporary Closing Of Roads

Monaghan County Council gives notice to close the following road in the Municipal District of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney in County Monaghan:

Date:                     Monday 10^th October 2022 until Friday 28^th October 2022

To Facilitate:      Road Resurfacing Works

Roads Closed:    R180-6 in the Townlands of Nafarty And Cloghvally Lower

Diversion Routes:

Traffic wishing to proceed on the R180-6 from the Ballybay Road will be diverted left onto the LP-4100 (Creevy Cross), then right onto the LS-8150 (Old N2)

Traffic wishing to proceed on the R180-6 from Carrickmacross Town will be diverted onto the LS-8150 (Old N2), then left onto the LP-4100 to re-enter the R180-5 at Creevy Cross.  

All Detours will be signposted in order to direct the Traffic. (Local Access and Emergency Vehicles will be catered for at all times).

This notice complies with the Roads Act 1993 (Section 75)
